ABOUT Jackson
Jackson Baker (he/him) is a 3D artist and sound designer with a graduate degree in digital media design practice from RMIT University. Being proficient in programs such as Maya, Unity, Photoshop, Reaper and Premiere, Jackson is able to use these skills to create games, soundtracks, trailers and 3D models.
From Geelong, Australia, Jackson enjoys collaborating on projects with other creatives. From exhibitions, to small games and soundtracks, Jackson has worked with others to create many projects which he is very passionate and proud of. His most recent project of wav.ie also shows his blend of research work and creative practice where he held an exhibition which was the groundwork for a case study about intersensory translations. Other projects such as Foxy’s Big Clean Up! And Maze of Mystery shows his interest in game design and his passion for creating video game music.
Jackson is highly motivated to develop his skills further and would love to become a sound designer or environmental artist where he hopes to tell stories through his work and create accessible experiences for everyone to enjoy.
